I am attempting to utilise towny's revert to wilderness when land is unclaimed feature alongside restrictions in the wilderness to create a perpetual map. I want to make this as automated as possible as enforcing rules such as this can be a huge pain with larger populations. Please keep in mind that the likely method for obtaining ores that players will utilise is going to be via quarries - patches of claimed land that will be mined out and then regenerated and then reclaimed to mine again. The problem is that players are able to claim a chunk whilst it is still regenerating and halt the entire regeneration process on that chunk. This means that map is left with big ugly quarries that would require a //regen (losing any custom land builds) and players will be easily able to abuse the system for unlimited ores. Is there any way to get around this? I am hoping that I am able to disallow claiming regenerating chunks somehow but I cant see it.
