Top 10 Bukkit Plugins [Video]

Hello everyone, In this video I will be going over what in my opinion are the top 10 bukkit plugins to make a great minecraft server. First thing I would like to state is that Essentials or commandbook was not featured in the video because I didn't want to feature something that big (or essential). I would also like to say it really does matter what kind of server you are going to be running becuase different types of server need different types of plugins.

So here it is your Top 10 List:

One suggestion I have is to do some of these "Top 10" lists but have them focused on certain a category, like admin or fun.

MySQL does not make anything faster. I'm just pointing this out. Unless you have well off network plan with your host MySQL is anything but fast. Local Storage can be extremely fast depending on your of course; Ram and processing speed. For example; say your logging tnt being placed on your server. You can easily store that to a YML or if you have the right network, MySQL both are equally as fast depending on the service. Sorry, just thought I should point that out. MySQL is over the internet and local storage is your hdd. Think about this; saving and uploading a document to dropbox over hitting save to your HDD.

how can you get other players to view dynmap?

 

He is talking about in the video. The guy in the video said that MySql is faster than from files on the computer.

 

Thanks for the video! It gives a whole new meaning to your list. There are some I wouldn't have thought much about, otherwise. The DynMap would be my #1, though.

MySQL is useful though if your planning to do some web project or something.
