    MicroCraft - By Target4Games
This tool makes server hosting even more easier!
You can host your own server with only a few clicks :)
Okay, to keep things short and simple: The tool isn't updated in all this time due to school/work and other important stuff. We are also working on our website, this has a higher priority than the tool, so that's also why. But! We will be working on a new version very soon and will be able for download at our website.
Show some love by donating :)

Hi, do you have any screenshots please?

ah doesn't matter I see em...

    Some things to look on:
-"Are you shure to quit" dialog must always be on top. It wasn't on top for me by default, because I didn't see any dialog I had to stop it using task manager
-You use a lot of CPU on the splash screen. 1 full processor core probably, 8% on my I7 (8 threads)
-"Java is still running" also detects non-server java processes, you can accidentaly close one if you don't know about this.

    Thanks for your reply!
    • About the splash screen, I still have to find out how to reduce the CPU usage, I know where the problem lies though, but will take some time to fix it (it depends on the Bukkit site/servers).
    • The "Are you shure to quit" will be fixed in the next update and about the "java is still running" part, we wil make the message more clear and add a second warning/confirmation for now.
If you find anything else, please don't hesitate to report/contact us about it.

Nice ! It has everything a server should start with. Thanks :)

I have more things that wants to be added, but it's alright. Great work !

Looks good! Spacebukkit support maybe? (Not that it has anything to do with this program, but it would be nice anyway)
  11. Offline

Could you also add a menu for bukkit.yml next to server.properties? That would be great :)
  12. Offline

Sure, will do that in the new version :). Btw, we'll try to release the new version in the next few days .
  13. Offline

I noticed that it doesn't save the maximum RAM usage that I set.

Thank you for reporting this problem. We have looked into the problem and fixed it. We'll sqeeuze it in the update we've planned to release in the next few days.

Just saying, not sure if anyone else has said it, the scrolling box that has all the server stuff won't scroll, you pull it up and it instantly pulls down to the bottom on it's own.

Right click in the server log and click on the "Turn off Autoscrolling" button ;).

First off.. Amazing.. When i switched from the vanilla minecraft server to bukkit really missed the GUI.. even if i hardly use the GUI it is nice to have for a windows box.. This is a VERY nice clean GUI and you did an amazing job on it.. Love the Couple things for suggestions

    1. in the settings.ini would be nice to see some comments about what is what.. for example what is the server.target4games.com used for? i am guessing to check for updates but dont like having links to sites in a config file without knowing its use..

    2. no easy way to find "turn off autoscroll" i would make it check box or in a drop down from tools.. just makes it easy to find.. =]

    3. Not sure how easy it would be but add the current memory usage of the minecraft server.. works good for me since i only have 1 java.exe running but could be problems for other people..

    4. An Auto-Start for the server.. Would be nice to start MicroCraft and it start the minecraft server as well..

    5. This would be really cool but a color text parsing.. for example.. the [WARNING] lines would be red, Chat lines green or something.. Just an idea.. =]

Thats about it.. Sure everyone would have their own thoughts but thats just my 2 cents.. =] ... Keep up the great work man.. =].. Thanks again for this amazing GUI..

    Thanks for your reply!
We really like replies like this because it gives us the strength to continue developing this program :).
    • About the settings.ini. We've been looking into this but it is not as easy as it seems to be so we might include include this in a future update, but don't worry about the "server.target4games.com", this is purely for the updater.
    • We've placed the "auto-scroll" option next to the say check-box so it's easier to find. And about the memory usage for the server we've also implemented this in the update that will be released in the next few days after we've done some testing and cleaning to make sure it's up to our standards.
    • The "Auto-Start" option is also implanted and can be found in the configuration menu.
    • We haven't been able to change the color of the text yet, but we've also planned this in a future version.
If you have any more suggestions or found some bugs, please don't hesitate to report/contact us about it.

With v1.0.1.0 I have seen some issues with the player list. Sometimes it doesn't show the players who are logged in. Another issue I noticed is that it puts other people's skin on someone else's as well as their own.

    Thank you for reporting!

We've reverted the playerlist to a previous state without the images as a fast fix to the problem (we will be looking at this at a later time) and implemented the new options we have been working on for a future planned update.
  24. I have this bug. Please look at it and reply.

that is the server. not the program.

    Thanks for your reply!
    Alright here we go,

From what I can see it is most likely bukkit itself that is showing you this error.
That can mean you have a problem in 1 of your plugins or their configuration.

How to fix most errors in bukkit:
    • Remove plugins (So you can see if it is one of them that shows the error.)
    • Remove all the bukkit config files and let "MicroCraft Rebuild" Them.
If you still can't find the problem feel free to contact us about it, we will see how we can help you more from there ;) .

CPU utilization of the server is not quite stable. Lag is likely to occur.
  28. Offline

    Thanks for your comment!

We've looked into this and it's a visual bug. It's not really lagg but the progressbars aren't refreshing smoothly enough, meaning you get to see choppy progressbars. We will try fix this so the timer animation will look smooth in the next update.

    Updated to v1.0.1.9.
This version took days and days and days to create and a lot of re-writing was done, so we had to give up our gaming and anime-watching time to finish this version :(. BUT! The new version is here with a lot of improvements :D!
