I can't connect via "Local Host" or my IP address. If i try with either it times out. If I have the server up on CMD or if I enter in my IP without having the server up

 

Are you using localhost or 127.0.0.1?

 

Just tried "127" and that worked. Still not sure why I can't connect via my IP though.

 

127.0.0.1 is a legitimate IP , but only you can use it.

 

I know that much it's the loopback. But if I want friends on my server that are across the country they can't use 127 it will try to connect them to a server on their comp that they dont have XD

Edit: found the answer! was a port forwarding problem. I changed reset my router awhile back and it changed the computer specific local ips around (used to be 1.101 now is 1.102) so just had to change that in port forwarding and now it works!

 

Exactly the point, A creative or freebuild server would more likely use iOP
Or a small server that don't need permissions, Which is why you should add it.

But still wants a Prefix's/Suffix's/Name-Color/msg Color
With a (Rank) (group) feel.

Will be supporting permissions next update (within a week or so)

iOPv2.1 Is also simpler and light weight for "noobs" and "Low ram" servers

Are you using a modified client?

 

No.... why would that make a difference? It's a server error.

 

Sometimes people are getting timed out errors because of client-sided mods. I will look further

 

Well there are quite a few people on the server and i was asleep XD Anyway, it talks about the worldcleanup

You can use Chunkster and run it through once to see if it solves the issue.

Half of those are Outdated, and have lots of bugs.
Worldedit/Guard- Outdated
RestartNow- Very buggy (The dev is working on it)
IconomyChestShop- Now Just ChestShop (Switch them out)
StoopFlood- Outdated
Permissions- Which one (outdated)
FoundDiamonds- Outdated
VanishNoPickup- Dropped by essentials
MoveCraft- Known to cause errors

However, I know that error is either from:
WorldBorder
StopFlood
iConomyChestShopp
McMMO

I promise you, if you test the plugins i just listed, your find which one is doing that.
Also, Remove the outdated, and update the ones with current one's open.

I have been playing mc since 2 weeks after release, I run the largest cracked server on earth
(over 4k members/ 10k players)

I am a plugin dev, and can code java.
I have tons of exp with Plugins, and can personally install and edit almost any of them.
I have extensive knoledge with errors and tracking the source to find them
I know how to fix them as well

It would be cool to join this, i think i could really help

Worldedit/Guard is updated almost every night (not outdated)
FoundDiamonds is only a simple plugin if the developer wanted he could just put the version to #1060. It has no bugs so why would i remove it?
Couldn't care less if vanishnopickup was dropped by essentials, it still works!
MoveCraft does have some bugs I admit but I personally haven't got any yet so for me it works fine.

RestartNow isn't outdated....
Yes, stopflood doesn't have it's post displaying as compatible with 1060 just like founddiamonds but it has no bugs and works. Why would i remove it?

 

WorldEdit and WorldGuard are - 1000

FoundDiamonds has some errors with its code, It may "Seem fine" Yet i'm not the one with the errors.
VanishNopickup is replaced by VanishNoPacket.
RestartNow is [VERY] Buggy, and not working correctly at all
The dev will say so himself. MoveCraft Works, yes. It is known to cause "Severs" and "Errors"
StopFlood Needs updated, Their is some string that will cause a bit of lag if a few ppl try to spam.

Then it must be the plugin that has CraftBookVehicles throwing errors. What plugins are you running again?
