As you may have seen, I have not brouhgt out a new release of my Elevators plugin for a long time. That was because I was not able to implement the features I wanted and it was the first java project i had ever done. Soo.. it is true that (like I read in one of the answers of the old Elevator thread) the old source code "is toast". I am not interested in bringing this old crappy code back to work. Anyway, I have a new design concept for the Elevators plugin, i would like to implement in a new plugin, Elevators 2. With this new concept, the problems I had while making the old plugin would be gone. Some key properties are: open-source global localization module less features in the main plugin, but great expandability So, if you are a programmer and want to bring it back to life, wanted to overhaul the old source code or like the idea of reinventing some great mechanics, please replyso we can work together. Because unfortunately, I have not the time to do this on my own. So who do we need? Some people to implement the plugin core, building an elevator API to implement extended features not included in the plugin core to make the organization around the development process to design and present the works results at bukkit dev or other locations Thanks for your interest!
