TAB names are broken.

When players press TAB the names are cut, like this one here (original name is the3rdnumber):


What is causing this problem and how can I fix it?
I'm using Essentials and MChat (as potential plugins that can affect this).

 

As far as I am aware, Minecraft's TAB feature still follows Minecraft's 16 character user limit.
Since you have added "[Owner]" and changed the colour, this has added to the user's character limit, cutting off a bit of the end.
I believe this character limit also includes two characters for each colour code.

For example:

&cAdministrator&aDead_i

In the above example, only "Administrator" would appear due to the character limit.

 

Is there a way to make the TAB names only white and pure, but the chat keep the prefixes?

 

You'd have to figure out which plugin is changing the tab list. But you'd still be limited to 16 characters total. So with your example above, you'd only display 8 characters of the player name.
