Hello everyone, I'm running this server for quite some time on RB1000 with quite some plugins (will add them in a sec), the plugins are usually updated within a week.
So I have this swap.bin file with a huge size is 2,57 GB, and I wonder where it's used for.
I attached a file with all my plugins listed, note that the MinecartManiaCore is a version edited and he called it the 'one line fix' and it works perfectly for me.

    Craftbukkit #1000
    Windows 7 64-bit SP1 (and updated)
    No hamachi, etc.
No modified bukkit jar and stuff like that.

I have a vanilla 1.8-pre server and it also has a swap.bin file but its only 1007MB. linux/swap is a partition type that is made to be used as ram except it is stored on the local disk. The only process i know to use this is kswapd except your running your server on windows (which i dont recommend but your choice). if your swap file is 2GB you should really allocate more ram to your server. Swap space on wikipedia

Did you use a mapper like c10t? That is the only time I've seen a swap.bin file generate

I deleted the file already and it didn't generate again since than.

    Thanks for all the responses.
