Survival Games w/ essential's kits

Hello! I own a MC server and have a slight problem. When someone goes to choose there kit while in the game they'll type say "/kit warrior" and they'll keep typing it to get more food. I know you can add a cooldown but say they die 10 seconds in and they join a new arena and they still cant use that kit. So what I need solved is a way to choose a kit once for that game.
