[SUPPORT NEEDED] Ramdrive/ramdisk

I basically need help with setting up a ramdrive.
An easy-to-follow tutorial would be awesome if provided.

Honestly though, I don't see the point of using a ramdisk. Chunks are only written to disk during a save-all and it's a pretty small amount of information for a modern drive to handle. How long is it taking you to do a save-all?

 

Chunks may only be written on a save all, but they're not all loaded until someone enters rendering distance for that chunk. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, all you people wanting to run ramdisks in windows are crazy. Who would even seriously want to use a Windows machine as a server for anything? It boggles my mind. The OS is so unreliable.
