There's a very strange behaviour happening on server I'm hosting. I just generated map through overviewer and I found something very strange. I see alone chunks somewhere in middle of nowhere. Well, it sounds strange, but take a look

Can someone explain why does this happen? Could it be because animals "wants" to spawn there?

If you haven't used the official Minecraft map generator which is used by Craftbukkit, we can't support you here.

Yes, it's built into Minecraft itself.

Or else you'd join the game and fall straight into the void.

Oh that's normal... that's where the server spawns homes for Herobrine! :D

Yes. Build 8 maps, and put them in a ring around the crafting window. Then in the center you need to put a redstone repeater. When you use the item it will create a personal portal to your own personal map.

I also have a bridge in San Francisco that I would like to sell you for cheap.

I had a world generated in singleplayer using 1.2.5. When I went into mcEdit, I saw some of those, but they were close to the already-generated areas.
I would assume it is something with the generator, but it doesn't look bad. Just live with it!

Overviewer is just generator for web-based viewer, not map generator..

Then why are you posting in general Bukkit support, rather than the official support channel(s) for this Overviewer plugin/application?

This isn't Overviewer's problem but Bukkit problem ...

Nope, it's not a Bukkit problem.
