Source code publishing and integration with Eclipse

I recently started coding Bukkit plugins, and I'd like to push my source code to my Github account. I searched around for a Git plugin for Eclipse, and eventually found EGit - I encountered errors while installing though.

So, I was wondering - what's the easiest and/or most common method for pushing source code to Git? I'd prefer to stay out of cmd if possible (Currently running Win7 but I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed as well).
