Slow HDD

With 40-50 people on my server tps is 5-8. The same without plugins. I think it is because of slow hdd. What can I do if I haven´t got enough RAM to run world on RAMdisk and I haven´t got SSD disk?

Any help?

 

Whats your server specs?

 

NoLagg has some nice tools for minimizing the sources of lag on a server.
Go thru your plugins, and anything that hits the hard drive often like LogBlock or DynMap or Orebfuscator (with the cache on) should be minimized as much as possible.

 

Post specs please.

Try craftbukkit++ (Google it), and see if it changes anything.
