Setting permissions for Hunger Games

    My friend cannot join an arena because "You do not have permission to use: /hg join"
    i've found the needed permissions, but i don't know how to write them, am i supposed to write individual players? Or i just write the permissions at the permissions.yml file and they magically work?

    @timtower is it the PermissionsEx plugin?

    i used LuckPerms and edited the default role, everyone who joins automatically gets it and has the ability to join and leave the match, thanks for trying to help anyway!
