Server IP?

    I've noticed that the majority of server IP-adresses are similair to mc.????.com/play.????.com

    I was basically wondering how I can get those instead of my own IP-adress if I want to host by myself.

    I have that too.
    You need webhosting with a domain name, and DNS management.

    The lowest price for that is € 1 a month, and you get the added bonus of hosting a forum for your community.

    or you could have a look at dyn.com. Another is noip.com
    But if you like to have webpage and forum,i would go for Refalm's suggestion fury0n

    You do not need web hosting, you just need to get the domain and point it.

    If you plan on having a website (most do) then yes it has to be hosted somewhere, doesn't need to be the same place you bought the domain.
