OK - it seems the Bukkit team is going back and forth on that one. Can we KEEP the prefix of /# for forwarding console commands? It's useful when some plugins override certain commands while not providing sufficient replacements. Bukkit used to intercept all /, then it had /# for quite a while and now / is intercepted as well no matter the source resulting in i.e. /help showing BOTH a plugin's help (General/Essentials for instance) and LOLNotch's default help.
Exactly - it's annoying. >:-( Update: I suspect this commit: http://bamboo.lukegb.com/chain/viewChainResult.action?planKey=BUKKIT-CRAFTBUKKIT&buildNumber=199 It made the server accept console commands as Bukkit commands so I guess it worked the other way round too. :-\
