    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.
      • Limit players' interaction with the wild to just harvest-able blocks, keeping the wild pristine.
      • Roll-back tnt, creeper, wither explosions, dragon damage and endermen block-moving.
      • Block explosions and fire.
    • PVP Enhancements
      • Server with a strong PVP aspect will find Towny's grouping of players to be invaluable.

    • All permissions plugins are supported and provide greater customization (recomend GroupManager).

    (We no longer recommend using PEX at all. It breaks TownyPerms due to the reflection PEX performs.)

    I have deleted all the towns, Residents all Data files multiple times, It always finds something/one new

    After I updated towny to .74 (from .73.x), my chat is raped. It works out fine at first, then when I do /list it won't show the names properly (adds lines between some people's names) then some people's chat ends up UNDER their name. So it would look like this:

    Other than that, it seems to be working fine. I'm using commandbook.

    Somehow something has added a linebreak to one of the chat tags used by the config. Pastebin.com your towny config.yml and your permission node file please.

    You're using the {modplayername} option, what other chat plugins are you using? I can't see anything wrong here and towny is just passing it off to another plugin. Try using just {playername} instead???

    Please Help
    Can u change to size of the plots
    as they are way to big, as we are trying to sell the land where a fence is but the plot is way bigger than the land we want to sell

    I have an error with Towny and the Jail plugin '[SEVERE] Could not pass event PLAYER_TELEPORT to Towny'

    Bukkit version: #1000 (the version #1060 is not working for me)
    Towny version: 0.74.0
    Steps to reproduce:
    Install Jail plugin and create a jail with cells.
    restart the server and then try to jail someone. The output would be an internal server error.

    Please Help....

    I Just updated to 1060 and now everything is working except the /plot command

    I cannot put plots up for sale and nobody can claim any plots....
    This has put a complete halt on my server when it comes to new people.
    Is there any reason why you think this might be happening?
    If you need me to provide any information just ask.
    No errors in the console. It doesn't even show in the console me trying the /plot command

    towny.town.plot was added in 0.74 and allows players to use the /plot command.

    Give them towny.town.plot in their pemission nodes, this is part of the What's New section, I really don't know why I've had to mention it over and over again.

    Nope plots are fixed at the size in the config set on first start up.

    {permprefix} is already there, if you change your permissions groups' prefixes to include their name it will display.

    I tried to install towny on my server and add it to my current town. However its quite large and it will take a long time to Claim bit by bit. Is there a way I can add a large area with one command? I tried /town clam (radius) however I got an error that I dont have enough town blocks and I cant see a command to add them. Can anyone please help me?

    I have question about nations. WHen a nation say he is enemy to another nation (with the command ofcourse) can he then try too attack and conquer their cities?

    Use that command but first give yourself extra townblocks with /ta givebonus {townname} #
    Also make sure there is enough money in the townbank if you charge to claim townblocks.

    No, but with towny war on it will happen. Don't use war yet it's still very broken.

    For now if you declare a nation an enemy, the residents of that nation cannot use /town spawn while in one of your nation's towns. (This is set in the config.)

    Towny - I have everything installed/configured correctly, I know its correct because I have went step by step and completed all of them, yet all players that are not "op" cannot build/destroy in wilderness, Thank you for your time

    Thx for answering. Could I then suggest to the team of this awesome plugin maybe that if 2 nations delcare both enemy together and that then they can conquer each other but only when like 30 per cent of the population of the nation is online. (or only possible to conquer between a set time)

    From what iv read of this mod, it sounds awesome. My only question is Am i able to sell residents custom land plot sizes or do i HAVE to sell them an entire town block? Because i already have a city made and i highly doubt that it will match up exactly with the town blocks and it would be really hard to redesign it. If there isnt this feature, is there any way we can add this?
