    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.
      • Limit players' interaction with the wild to just harvest-able blocks, keeping the wild pristine.
      • Roll-back tnt, creeper, wither explosions, dragon damage and endermen block-moving.
      • Block explosions and fire.
    • PVP Enhancements
      • Server with a strong PVP aspect will find Towny's grouping of players to be invaluable.
      • Prevent friendly-fire. (Optional)
      • Nations split players into larger teams.
      • Nations can declare other nations to be allies or enemies, further splitting players into even larger teams.
      • PVP can be turned on/off in wilderness, towns and worlds. (Optional)

    • No other plugins, but is best with Questioner, so that invitations are given by Towns and Nations to residents and towns.

    • Essentials 2.5+ - (Towny /town spawn's obey Essentials teleport cooldown)
    • All permissions plugins are supported and provide greater customization (recomend GroupManager).
    • Economy plugin of your choice.
    (We no longer recommend using PEX at all. It breaks TownyPerms due to the reflection PEX performs.)

    Is there a way to get towny to work with craftbukkit 1.2.4? or do you have to have craftbukkit 1.1-R6

    Hello, i give builders on my server the towny.wild permission to build in the wilds and enabled it in the config but they still can't build, brake, switch. i have the latest version of bukkit and towny and register.
    Please help

    I heard a rumor just barely that towny advanced has stopped posting updated versions, is this true?

    I've been told by others that the latest Towny dev works with the latest Bukkit dev for 1.2.4.

    We won't officially support anything until bukkit gives us an RB.

    what do you mean "Change load: mysql

    ? I dont get how to go from flat file to MySQL ?

    omg it does not working on 1.2.3 or 1.2.4, it just says: an internal error occurred. Is it a bug in plugin or i have failed on something?

    The problem is there doesn't seem to be any error messages, ut just loads normally at startup. so i have nothing to paste bin

    For some reason the error is no more; didnt change anything though. ):

    EVERYONE THAT KEEPS ASKING TO MAKE THIS FOR 1.2.4; IT ALREADY WORKS ON 1.2.4. Please try the dev-versions before you keep bombing this thread with the same question.

    We have been having some issues with towny bank money just disappearing on the server I am on.

    At first we thought it might be people stealing the money from the bank but it happens when nobody is even on.

    I was wondering if there could be some kind of fix so we can check the last 5-10 transactions from the bank so we can see if its issues with the current bank or assistants?

    If I am posting in the wrong place please point me to the right place =P

    Is there a way of making towns go to war without being in a nation?

    Also, what about making nation OPEN with /nation toggle open , so mayors can join nations with /nation join <nationname>

    1. No, but there has been a lot of support for this idea, so it might happen some day.

    okay so i installed the dev version of towny now when i try and create a town it says:
    An internal error ocured while attempting to perform this command.

    so my question is, is this fixable?

    Every time I try to make a town, (I do /town new mytownname) It says "You cannot afford to create a new town!" What do I do? I have alot of money (I have 50000000+ on Economy) And I still cannot create a town. Help please?
