    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.
      • Limit players' interaction with the wild to just harvest-able blocks, keeping the wild pristine.

    Im having trouble with setting up chat, can someone please help??? Its more than likely with something dealing with permissions cause whenever i try talking to people on the server im set on the global chat and cant get out of it. This is a problem because when i try to talk to someone it says "I feel lonely, no one hears me" even though the other people are online. As for every other player they cannot get into any part of towny chat (not even global chat). Please help me so this nightmare can be over lol( im tired of using the /say command over and over XD (slightly lazy).

    Hey guys, I'm having a problem installing TownyAdvanced on bukkit build 2047. I've installed Towny as the instructions below tell me to.

    The problem I'm having is with step 2:
    Each of my worldname.txt files are empty with no settings to configure. I have checked file permissions and ownership several times and no errors are appearing in any of the log files.

    My last ditch attempt would be to slightly update bukkit to 1.2.3 r.02.
    However I am somewhat apprehensive to do so since the previous beta really screwed up world loading when coupled with Multiverse, causing frequent client crashes. Ironically the #2047 dev build was more stable than the r.01 beta build!

    i cant build in the wilderness i have set all the settings to true:

    unclaimed_zone_build: 'true'
    unclaimed_zone_destroy: 'true'
    unclaimed_zone_item_use: 'true'
    unclaimed_zone_ignore: 6,14,15,16,17,18,21,31,37,38,39,40,50,56,65,66,73,74,81,82,83,86,89
    unclaimed_zone_switch: 'true'

    In the map "towny/data/world" is nothing... And i have started the world already one time.

    I can only build in the wilderness if i am an op. Can someone please help me?

    Possible Bug - Towny + Lockette

    Using "Everyone" on a door - gives everyone access and not just town residents. The lockette dev said this bug is in Towny and not lockette. Just passing this info on.

    Bukkit version 1.2.3, Towny version 0.79.1

    In my server i want the default group to only be able to destroy blocks in the wild. So then i changed the towny config so that only destroy was true. Then i changed my group settings (GroupManager version 2.8.4 ) so that default had the permission of towny.wild.destroy and i set build to true. I changed my group to default and tried to destroy the ground but it just reappered instantly and i was far away from spawn. I then changed the permsissions in the default group to towny.wild.*. I started the server up and i was able to do everything but i only want default to be able to destroy.

    Plz help

    Also I would post my config and permissions but i dont know how to add a spoiler.

    There's a bug using admincmd with towny. /t and /town are activating thor-mode in admincmd. btw: If I try to make a new Town, it says "Can't afford to settle a new town here" If I set the price in the config to "0" (because I don't have an Economy-Plugin installed) it says an error in Console :

    It seems to me to look for an iConomy-Account, but iConomy isn't installed and I don't want it installed. Using Bukkit 1.2.3-R2 & towny

    I'm using MultiVerse on my Server. Don't know which Dev it is...
