    Taking Shades' Towny a step farther.

    A versatile, player-controlled land management plugin for use with Bukkit/Tekkit/Spigot/Libigot, offering solutions for pvp, griefing, chat, inflated economies and monsters.

    Features (open)

    Towny includes a wide variety of features to offer instant enhancements to your traditional Minecraft server.
    • Allows players to own and manage land based on a pre-set grid layout.
      • Players join towns and purchase plots of land.
      • Players decide who can build, destroy, use "switchs" and use items on every plot they control.
      • Towns can join together into nations, further structuring a server into teams.
      • Towns grant protection from monsters, pvp, fire, explosions and greifing.
    • Wilderness Rules (Optional)
      • Area between towns is wilderness, with its own build permissions.
      • Limit players' interaction with the wild to just harvest-able blocks, keeping the wild pristine.
      • Roll-back tnt, creeper, wither explosions, dragon damage and endermen block-moving.

    I meant with Build off. With Build turned off, people can still place blocks. I have confirmed that all towns are effected, and it has lead to grief in some situations.

    Great plugin except that I am unable to change the config settings to allow players to do anything in the wilderness. Please, Please help, i tried changing in the config file and also through the commands.

    Did you give everyone towny.claimed.* in their nodes?

    Give them towny.wild.*

    It works without major bugs, the /tw regen command doesn't work.

    Problem--> I got enough money but still can't /town claim :O
    # The price for a town to expand one townblock.

    # How much it costs a player to buy extra blocks.
    price_purchased_bonus_townblock: '1'
    Had it on 25 and didn't work so i tried on 1 still nothing.[​IMG]

    I installed the release version of towny, then the dev version, 0.79.1.1. I use Bukkit 1.2.3-R0.2, PermissionsBukkit 1.6 and towny.wild.*, when placed anywhere in the permissions, causes the server to lock up solid and not allow connections. Editing the configs directly does not permit building in the wild either.

    I am using Register 1.7 Questioner 0.6. I removed Townychat since it's commands overrode a LOT of my other commands.

    hello how i can remove townychat to use again my mchat with townytag, some month before i use towny tag on my mchat and all work well but now (since update) that don't working and display : {townycolor}{permprefix} [{town}{townyprefix}] name: .

    I need to remove townychat because if somebody type /g or /tc , nobody can hear it for ever and impossible to return into default chat.

    Permissionsbukkit doesnt handle .* at all. Get groupmanager.

    Join the IRC, there's a couple things I'll have to walk you through. Not sure if mchat supports towny still or not.
    You should make sure the money is also in your town's bank, not on your person. Type /town to see your townbank's balance. You would use /town deposit {amount} to put money in to the bank.

    How do I make players can destroy in the wilderness? now only ops can destroy blocks there

    Give players towny.wild.destroy and towny.wild.itemuse in their permission node group.

    again i request some help
    everytime i put a sign, aroud it(whit towny on),normal players can destroy the blocks(around the sign)....and, normal players can destroy signs...
    can someone help me?
    and 1 more thing
    its there a was that i can set up to the members for a town to have max 2 plots?

    EDIT x 2: I figured out how to mass claim plots :) I just had to do some math and put myself in the correct spots, and mass claim area :)

    /town claim [circle/rect] radius

    I have a problem, permits users to work I put the nodes in the PEX and does not work.Are there any compatibility issue with both plugins .. PermissionsEx and Towny?

    I'm using PermissionsEX as well, but I'm not having any problems. What do you mean by "permits users to work?"
    Do you mean like build/destroy?

    im having same problem as llmdl...i have everything for wild true and permissions false but unless your op. you cant build in wild it doesnt even say anything when you try the block just deletes
