So basically I'm making a town roleplay type of server that came from a game that was out in like the 90's. But so on, I made 4 type of house, 1 is little house, 2 is medium, 3 is big, 4 is mansion. And on a selected land I put the #1 house on all and I put it up for sale, but if the person get rich they can upgrade the house by going to the realstate or something like that and click a sign and buy tier two. Now here is where the house he currently have disappear/ //set air then is replace by the tier 2 house. Where do the stuff he has placed in his house example: a chest with his armor and swords, go? Everything inside the house that belongs to him is gathered up into 1 bigchest in the middle of the new house. I hope someone can make this for me, PM me if you found one like this or made one, thanks!
Could you do //replace (house material 1),(house material 2 ),(so on) 0? Im not quite sure what your issue is
I have 4 already build, one better than the other, my players cannot build so the only way for them to get a bigger house is buy tier 2 3 or 4. & it instantly replace the. Not sure if this is correct or not, but you want a system where it pretty much pastes a schematic of your new house over your old one, and transfers the items in your chests to your new place? I might be able to make something like this, although I'm not 100% sure about the chest part (probably just warn users to take the stuff out from their chest, first - or have the chests in the same spot) Also, will players be able to "Edit/Build" on the house?
muffinjello Yeah the player can only put stuff down inside house but cannot edit the whole house. Its basicly kinda a like Animal Crossing.You upgrade house, and it becomes bigger.And the chest Part, We can warn the players No problem. Edit: and they can right click a sign and have their land replaced with a house, or we have a sign infront of their house with the cost of the next upgrade, which is configable in config.
FloatingWater Hmmmm ..... I'll see what I can do, thought I can't guarantee anything as I'm more of a project "manager" type person who would probably spend tons of time making documentation and ideas for things... but is not exactly the best for coding. Just a heads up though, it would (most likely) have a world edit dependency (The different houses would be managed by World Edit schematics) - as far as placing things in a house and keeping them goes, I can try to make it so that it pastes the new schematic over the old one in such a way that it doesn't paste "air", meaning places in the new house that don't have blocks in a certain spot would not over-write the old spot - but this also means that the room structure would have to be relatively the same. Just wondering, is there anyone else interested in helping with this project? I see it going places.
Well I don't need the chest to be moved, I got that sorted out, I just need like a plugin where player right click a sign to buy tier 2, and then instantly lose the old house and get the bigger one. muffinjello
