Plugin category: MECH Suggested name: Respawn Traits Quick Thing: I've done some searches but this does not exist. What I want: A plugin that detects the event of a player respawning and randomly selects from a list of effects in a config file and applies it to that player. Here is what a config file might look like: Code: Good-Effects: Speed I Speed II Jump Boost I Jump Boost 2 Waterbreathe NightVision Regeneration Strength 1 Fire Resist 1 Resistance Bad-Effects: Nausea Weakness Wither Poison Blindness Fatigue Slowness Mechanics: These effects in the config would last until the player died. They're selected randomly and even if you get 2 bad effects, they'll have to deal with it. The command /suicide would be blocked by this plugin so that they can't take the easy way out and re-roll for a better combo. Maybe put in something that detects how long they were alive and give them a better chance of good effects based on that time. Also I want this built for 1.5.2 R1.0 of bukkit. Commands: /reroll <player> - OPs only Permissions: Probably not needed but go for it. When I'd like it by: Flexible. Note: If you like this idea, reply and support it. Thanks for reading.
@Chaositic You could remove the: [REQ][FORMATTED] It is very annoying, everything here is an request ( obvious ) and plugin developers will look at it anyway, if there is an [Formatted] or not
I do it because it was recommended to me a long time ago when I first joined the forums. I also prefer people knowing it's readable and understandable rather than unformatted and sloppy looking. But thanks for the post bump.
