   I would love if someone could make a plugin which stops people from being able to talk in chat in a defined area.
   
   Maybe hook into worldguard/worldedit regions ?

   Sure! Expect it Friday night (Australia)! I probably will hook into WorldGuard and do you want permissions so people with a permission like blahblah.talk would be able talk in areas?
