    Hello.

I've been running a small private server in my home for a while now, and I'm starting to think about rendering some scenes from it in Blender.

What I've been thinking would be really cool is if I could sort of automate the process eg. go to a spot in-game, type a command, the server outputs player position to a file that's used in an automated render process. My server's too powerful for my player count, so I figure that I can probably get away with rendering whilst the server's running.

Before I look into the other hurdles I was wondering: can the Anvil files be read (not written, obviously) by an external program whilst Bukkit has them loaded? Would anything cataclysmic happen? I'm running my server on Ubuntu, if it makes a difference.

    Many thanks in advance!
