Raw Client Garbage Caused Server Crash and Map Corruption

    An operator user on my server tonight had a tornado in his local area, which i believe disrupted his net connection from there to the server, before he got disconnected his client streamed raw garbage into the chat which half of which showed up in the console and the other half seems to have been overflowed into the server causing it to crash as the server was backing up map data. my server used rolling incremental backups that every 7 days creates a new base backup for the week. it was as this was happening that the server crashed. luckly i'm not stupid and so keep a backup of the previous base backup before i make a new one, but still it's put my server back 7 days where a lot of work was done. is there any way to make the chat 100% non-exploitable? i'd hate for this to happen to others.
