   I've seen a lot of incontinuity regarding update notifiers and am wondering what the official policy is. A while back, my plugin parsed the RSS feed of its files page, on bukkitdev in order to compare the versions listed there with that inside my plugin.yml. After a few releases like this, which were approved, I was told that this sort of system was no longer permitted. So, my question is, is this true? If so, what alternatives are there? If this is not true and my system is allowed, what should I do of another moderator denies my build?

   We only allow updaters which use the Curse Servermods API.
