Hey, my server is just not saving inventory and the place where you are. I got Windows 7 x86 Java version.. - java version "1.6.0_22" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_22-b04) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 17.1-b03, mixed mode, sharing) Actually I dont know.. i downloaded it 5 minutes ago. Plugins I use: Authorize BigBrother dynmap General iChat iConomy Jail kiwiAdmin LevelCraft LWC MCDocs Murder MyHome Permissions SearchIDs SimpleProtect WorldEdit WorldGuard
me too, i am suffering from this problem too, but i know how to solve it temp. you need to tell all players in the server (inc you) to logout first before you shutting down the server. then their inventories and place will be saved. but, however, i still think it is very annoying...
As far as I am aware, it is an issue with Minecraft. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Minecraft will only save the players location and inventory when they disconnect from the server. I think there are plugins that will force a save, so it is probably a good idea to search the plugins forum.
I'm not sure why anyone would force shut down their server, or shut it down when people are still in.
I puted up just craftbukkit server without plugins, and it is saving.. ;/ ______ I need to restart mine servr because I am updateing it with plugins. And sometimes it just turns off.. when i connect it shows Logging in.. nothing else.. when i restart it, everything is like it was 30min before.
Nice. Sort out which plugin, and post on the plugin thread so the author of said plugin knows what's up.
