OtherDrops isn't really designed to do this so a more specialised plugin is better (eg. the one posted earlier in this post) however if you want to use OtherDrops for this (or are using it already) you can check out the example on the previous page (http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/potion-effect-swords.107433/#post-1633502).

I've been trying to use this plugin, but you have it set to only put the effects on the swords, I think this is pretty stupid and pointless. Also, I don't like how you have it set to one potion per weapon. Can't you allow it to have multiple per weapon? I've tried looking at the coding, but I can't find out where the problem is. It should be allowing multiple potion effects per thing, but it doesn't work that way. I can't find the problem at all. Can the owner update the file or can someone send me the code to add to this? Also, I've tried OtherDrops, and Skrypt, and even other plugins, but they don't work at all, and they cause a lot of unnecessary lag. I NEED this to work for my server. Please help me with this!

Yeah, I guess I could have said that a bit better, but I've just been through a lot of crap recently. The biggest issue is that I'm using Linux Ubuntu, and the Nvidia Drivers are a piece of crap on Linux. I've also tried many plugins to do this, and can't get them to work. I was just a bit frustrated at the time (and I still am), and I was reviewing the code and saw how the coder took the time to add the part that stops it from working on stuff other than swords, and frankly, I don't see the problem with having it on other stuff. I can fix the only on sword thing, but what I can't fix is how it replaces the previous effect when you add another one. It looks like it should add it, not replace it. Can you help me with it?

You should save the enchantments in the lore ;)

I know, I'm not rushing him, I'm making sure he got it, as it could be the wrong email or something. I completely understand that people have lives, and I apologise if it seems like I'm rushing him.

CraftBook CommandItems can do this, and was practically designed for this.
