Port forwarding problems

  1. Hello, for a while i have tried to port forward for a minecraft server, but it has never worked, so now i wanted to ask for help as to what i am doing wrong, and i have tried to port forward other things such as terraria as well and that did not work either.

    What router do you have, and can you post a screenshot of what the router control panel looks like?
    To get to your control panel, usually you type the ip 192.168.0.1 in a browser and the username and password is either "admin" "admin" or printed on the bottom of the router.

    Also when i checked which ports where open, all ports timed out and i get constant connection time outs on canyouseeme.org

  5. This is what i've been doing over and over, yet it does not seem to work, i re-did it following the guide, but it still does not work, i did it step to step, any ideas? And yes my computer has a static Ip Address @Jayfeather311

    @The_Fallen_Ang3l Is anything showing up on the server when you start it? Are you sure you used the correct LAN IP? Is the port you're using for the server correct?

    Try starting the server before testing the port on canyouseeme.org as I guess it timed out waiting for a service on that port.
