Problem/Bug Port forwarding problem (I know I am doing it right)

Hi there. I wanted to play on my old server with some friends and when I port forwarded it, they couldn't connect.
Port: 25565
For the external IP address on my port forwarding place (motorola) I left it at 0.0.0.0 (which is fine, since I've done that is how you do and I've done it with every other server of mine)
I put the iPv4 in for the local IP address.
After I clicked "add" and turned my server on, I nor my friends could connect using my external ip (The one you get from ipchicken, I'm not giving them the wrong ip)

It might be because im on my old computer since my new computer is being fixed, but I dont see why this doesn't work, if anyone can help me I'd be grateful. Thanks in advance.
