    Hi fellow devs !

    I'm looking up for a good website to host my plugin on for my AutoUpdater.
    Thing is, its not a public plugin, any good suggestions ?

    @Sw_aG Why does a non-public plugin need an autoupdater?

    @timtower public server.
    Do you know any sites ? (or alternative ways)

    Just send them the file when you make a new version?

    @timtower it'd take a full restart, which public servers don't do.

    How would a downloading plugin fix that issue then?

    @Sw_aG The server could update while having a maintenance break.

  9. You can use PlugMan to load and unload individual plugins without restart. Is this a server that you own or a server you can send plugins to, but not have file access to?

    And then they can do it manually with the file that you send to them.

    @timtower You keep repeating that, that's not an option for my state.
    Its fine if you don't know.

    Then use dropbox, one file that is the plugin itself, one a version file.
    Secondary plugin that checks the version file and compares the content with the plugin version.
    If they are different then you disable the plugin, download the plugin, load the plugin.

  15. I'm not sure what the situation is, and this is kind of assuming a lot, but if the server owner doesn't trust you with accessing files, they probably wouldn't trust you with updating your plugin on the server remotely if they knew what that meant.
