I downloaded the essentials plugin http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/ge...l-permissions-support.1262/page-46#post-31843 But when I try to download others (like magicarpet and jail) They don't work.. I restart my server and they still don't work.
Remove essentials and try the others. You're probably missing some config for essentials. Read that thread, it should lay out what you need to do. If not, I bet they'll be able to help you better than we can.
Your server, I don't make recommendations for what you want to run on it. I'm not saying essentials is bad at all, btw, just saying its probably got a config file in there dictating what plugins get loaded. I couldn't say though, I don't use essentials.
In the plugin release subforum I'm guessing. A lot of permissions plugins are starting to be dropped for support because Bukkit will have permissions eventually anyway. You really need to do your research into which one is right for you.
