Play custom sounds (without texture pack)

    Hello, i'm new to developing minecraft plugins and i wanted to ask if there is any way to play custom sounds in your plugin, without changing any file in any texturepack.
    Would be great if i would get any helpful awnser, thanks a lot! ^^[diamond]

    No it is not. The sound needs to be distributed to the client in order for them to hear it.

    Suppose you could play multiple sounds at the same time to get a desired sound, but it's not fool-proof.
