   Is there anywhere I can get a formatted list of all the item names in Minecraft, sorted by ID number? For example:
   

   Code:

   1 Stone
   2 Grass
   2:1 Grass with one damage
   3 Dirt

   The exact format doesn't matter, as I can change my code to match it, as long as it is sorted by ID.

   I would just write a script to do it:
   For now, just write to the config
   

   Code:java

   public void writeMaterials() {
       for(Material m:Material.values()) {
           Integer id = m.getId();
           String name = m.toString();
           getConfig().set("Materials."+id.toString(), name);
       }
       saveConfig();
   }

   
   That should write a nice list to your config with them all
   This was how I generated my config for a plugin
