Pex is messing stuff up

Ok i use Permissions Ex
I type /pex user BradleyCraftFTW group add Owner in console and all ti does is
- Make the server lag
- Kick the player you promote
- Then they cant join till i demote them

 

Do any errors show up in the server logs? Are you sure that the group you are adding people to actually exists the way you're typing it (capitalization/spelling/etc)? It might help if we could see your permissions file. Have you tried using /pex user <username> group set <groupname> instead of group add groupname?

 

I will try set and it never use to do this but not it does per world perms how to i disable this?

 

How many ranks do you have? If you have too many, PermissionsEX will lagg and sometimes close the server down. use GroupManager.

 

With group manager say i was a admin i could promote my self to owner

How do u make group manager in every world?

Pex works all all my other servers so why not prison

Just use this and just copy it untill all you're ranks are fulfilled
Just make sure, if you know what Inheritance is, make sure you do it for every rank
