Plugin Help PEX help request

Hi, just another idiot that can't set up a permissions file here.

I am setting up a file for my different staff ranks and nothing is working - as usual when I set something up. I was wondering if someone could offer some assistance.

Mhm, the permissions file seems valid. However, is that the whole file? Isn't the "Groups:" missing?

 

Sorry for replying a bit late...

All I have in the PermissionsEx folder in the Plugins folder is a config.yml, file-backup.-1.bak and that permissions.yml file.

Just checked the console, does it matter if it says...

'WEPIF: Using the Bukkit Permissions API.'

Could you post the full server log?
Also yes that matters, it's not using the PEX permissions file.

at the top of your permissions file.

 

Thank you so much for your help! Do you know why the prefixes aren't working? They seemed fine to me.

Could you post a list of your plugins? Do you have a chat manager like EssentialsChat?

Not sure, but CTSNC might interfere somwhow? Since it has it's own chat prefix. Same with ChatManager.

 

Well I now have the prefix that says 'guest' however no levels on there have guest but it is the inheritance of 'member', the first level. Also, adding CTSNC also now gives this.
