Perms randomly stopped working!! Help

Hello. Today I was trying to do some commands when I realized half of my perms dont work. I didn't change any of the perms file, I am an op. Nothing showed up in console. I tried to do some of the commands in console and some dont even work! I get the same 'I'm sorry but you dont have permission to perform this command' every time! The group I'm in is the 'admin' group, but that shouldnt matter because i'm an op!

Then, I put myself in the 'resident' group, which is my newb group. I then had access to op in all other groups, but still had no access to the commands I wanted (setceiling and setfloor for dynamiceconomy)
Whats going on?

Got this 'Could not pass event PlayerJoinEvent to FirstJoinPlus' error and 'Could not pass event PlayerJoinEvent to LazyRoad' too in the console

Many plugins not working, including vanish

I'm fixing up your permissions, this will take a few minutes so I will report back once I am finished.

EDIT: This is going to take longer then I thought as you have many errors in your permissions.

EDIT 2: Your permissions. Honestly, I don't want to say this but they are so messed up that this could take a least 1 hour...

 

Thanks... I don't know how they could've been so messed up, everything worked fine till today and I didn't think I really changed anything...

Wait this is permissionsbukkit, so I hope you dont think this is supposed to be a different perms plugin

Why would permsex work better?

Edit: I tried permsex and it does seem a lot better and did fix all the commands that weren't working, but I got internal errors and the errors:
Can't obtain PermissionsEx instance
and
Reinjecting all permissibles

edit update again: its working, and no 'internal errors' but this still shows in console

Alright, now that you have switched to PEX I will code your permissions in pex. I will have them done asap .

 

Ok cool, I hope those aren't as messed up... I put these ones through a yaml checker and it found no errors so I'm not sure what those errors are about

Thomas211 that's probably because PermissionsEx has a few bugs that haven't been patched in months. I don't understand why people keep suggesting that broken thing.

 

mbaxter currently using PE for my server .. am looking for a better alternative any sugestions?

 

Monkeypuddles bPerms and Privileges are both written by developers who know what they're doing, and I haven't heard of terrible bugs in either.

 

mbaxter ok thanks ill look at both, much apreciated.. (getting tired of all the spam messaging that pex leaves in your logs when its unhappy, for one.
