Permissions;

What permission Plugin is up-to-date and works and is good right now?
Like what can I use and then change someone's rank in the Nether World and Main World to Member, donor, or something using a command.

Also, would it be the same set up as the old Permissions Plugin?
Like how it is, "- "permissionnode.node*" or something.
Then how the ranks are set up and all that?

 

I use permissionsbukkit with superpermsbridge. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/permbukkit/. It seems to work fine with 1.8.1 There are in-game commands and you can change the permissions on a per world basis.

Yes the config is very similar it just adds true or false to the end and no dash

example... permissionnode.node.*: true

It doesn't use ranks as far as I know.

 

So I can't make a Guest, Member, Donor, Mod, Admin, rank?

 

Yes you can set up group names like you list. I misunderstood...there were ranks in the old permission plugin (never really understood them)
