Solved Permissions with GroupManager aren't working

I've been trying to make a survival server, but I have a major problem. I've downloaded GroupManager and created permissions, but they don't seem to work. After adding all the permissions, setting myself to default, and deopping myself, no commands seem to work. My only thoughts are I'm using the EssentialsX plugin instead of Essentials, since Essentials crashes the server for some reason, and this might be the problem, but probably not since chat prefixes don't come up in the chat either, and that would be GroupManager's problem. I'll provide information if needed (like config files). Please respond if you can, this is a very important problem for my server.

 

Hey, thanks for responding, but I managed to fix the problem by switching from GroupManager to PermissionsBukkit. Could you lock the thread?
