Permissions Promotion Command for ClanForge

I had a private server and decided to make it public so I bought a server at multiplaygameservers. When I got the server I was like "Wtf am I suppose to do?". When I finally knew what I was doing I figured out how to make permissions work and some plugins to work correctly. The problem was I couldnt promote anyone from the server commands. I checked out the latest version of permissions (3.0+) and went to their GitHub page but the commands they provided weren't working (its /pr <username> promote <group>). Whenever I type "/pr <username> promote <group>" it just shows me reloading commands. If anyone could help I would be so gladly to have you on my server! Please help me before the server gets overcrowded and the rules gets broken.
