    Hi everyone,

I am quite new to hosting a server and don't really have any problems so far but I would like to ask some assistance with regards to permissions. I simply cannot get this to work as I would like it to and I also have some questions about permissions in general.

    First off, my questions:
    1. As I understand it, there is a built in system for permissions. If I install a plugin to handle permissions, the default system disabled automatically? Do I have to manually disable it?
    2. When I install other plugins am I correct in thinking that their commands can simply be added to the list of permissions? (e.g. I have install choptree so I add choptree.chop to the list of permissions for a group)
    3. If the answer to 2 is "yes", what is the easiest way of getting a list of commands for a plugin?

Finally, I have just started using PermissionsEX as I have read good things about it and it seems easy enough to install. However when my server starts I simply cannot get modifyworld enabled. I have added the necessary code to my config file but it simply doesn't load. From what I understand, it is pretty much a necessity if you want to control anything in Minecraft.

My apologies if this all seems confusing, but I am confused in regards to permissions. My google searches and searches on this forum have not produced the answers I am looking for.

    Many thanks for your help!
