Hello my names TreeHD, - Pex version: 1.23.4 McVersion: 1.9.4 I am hosting a server and I have hosted many before this. I am getting a "You don't have permission" error when i try to use any pex commands. Woow wait, before you just say oh well ther can be a lot wrong. I recently set up a server with the version 1.9.4 and the same version of pex.. except it didn't have a single error.Here is what i have done trying to fix it. 1. I use a hoster so in settings there is an option "Set perm lvl of ops. 1-4, I set it to 4" 2. I have opted my self through console. 3. ran the following commands through console. pex group Owner Create Pex group owner add permissions ( gives perms to edit perms and groups? ) pex group Owner user add TreeHD ( my ign ) Here is what it says in the PermissionEx plugin folder -> Permissions.yml file Owner: permissions: - permissions.* - modifyworld options: prefix: Owner schema-version: 1 users: 5c7fb30f-2e38-4770-8bb4-7da5582b32bd: group: - Owner options: name: TreeHD I have the latest version of Pex and I am running 1.9.4 because 1.10 isnt compatible with pex yet. My friend is hosting a server with the same people I am. He has done the exact same thing I just did. But it works for him. I have been asking the Hoster for help and they keep putting me to YT videos in like 2012. I am wasting my money, someone please someone help me.
@TreeHD Please post your permissions.yml using http://pastebin.com And just the plugin name won't do anything. You need pluginname.* Putting them all in is way better though.
I have fixed the problem, it wasnt the permissions.* i had that didnt mean to put permissions with out the .*
