Using bukkit 1185 i got proplem with permissiosn 3.1.6 I am owner / admin in my server, i can use all commands what there is BUT a friend of mine who is second ADMIN just like me, he has name in ops.txt just like me and he IS OP / ADMIN and should have same permissions i think but still he has no all. He cant JAIL players,he cant use CREATUREBOX etc. When he tries to use some commands , they wont work but they either dont give any kind of message / error... I dont know why this is but i think its coz the permissions plugin. What should i do? i dont know any other permission plugins -.-
I am also having problems. IMHO permissions (regardless of which plugin you use) are the most frustrating thing about running a server. For the life of me I can't get it to work the way I want. I also have problems with my Admins not able to execute some commands even though they have been configured to do so as far as I can tell.
Which permissiosn u use? mby i can aid with stuff. post ur permission groups and users so i can see whats going on with them
I just figure it out! LOL In my case I am using worldmodes and I couldn't figure out why my admins couldn't change game modes. I didn't realise I had to add the worldmodes.creative and worldmodes.survival permissions as well. I only had them setup with worldmodes.set.self ... DOH! I am getting there slowly though. Thanks for your offer.
