PermessionsEx not working

I have a server that is on the latest CraftBukkit version using permessionsEx. It litterally does nothing. When I do /pl, it is red. Please help!

 

I have the Exact same problem. I think the cause is when I try to remove permissions for a certain pex group.

@fatguy46 somewhere on the forums there is a thread with a PEX help program which allows you to easily create a permissions.yml file by just putting in groups and their perms and stuff.
