    Hey there!
I'm running a server on my home computer:

    Win7 Home Premium 64Bit
    4GB RAM DDR2
    3GHZ Dualcore

    craftbukkit build 473 (actually newest?)

I downloaded the file, created the .bat file with -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M and started it.
Without having set up anything or having added any plugins i joined the server.

Now, whatever i do has a delay of 3-4 seconds (always the same intervall).
E.g. i destroyed a sandblock in the spawnprotected area where it is supposed to be recreated immedietly. But instead it is being recreated after 3 seconds.

I thought it could be a problem of the craftbukkit so i downloaded the Minecraft_Server file from and started a server with that one. But the same problem also appears in here, too.

I should mention that i already had a server which worked pretty good.
The only difference between the old server and the new one is that minecraft has been updated from 1.2 to 1.3

Does anyone have an idea what the reason could be?

    Try to update to Java7.
    Download JDK7 both 32-64bit.
Uninstall Java6 completely both 32-64bit if you got that installed.
    Install Java7 and try again.

Ive been trying to download java 7 from that site for hours now but i keep getting a page not found error when i click on a download link. Would you happen to know of any mirror sites? And is there a noticeable improvement over java 6?

The downloadlinks on that page do not realy work. I get the message, that the page could not be found.
