People cant build or destroy

my modifyworld is up to date and i have went very far past the spawn just in case spawn protection was interfering but this isnt the case i have also given the - modifyworld.* permission and they still cant build ='( so if anyone has a suggestion pls list it

If you have essentials, give your default rank "permissions.build".

why do you have admincmd and essentials? get rid of admincmd.
then add "permissions.build" to your perms and it should work

^ well first off type 'plugins' in ur server console and if "modifyworld" is in red then go into your plugins folder go to modifyworld open config.yml and change to "enable modifyworld: true"

 

its not red and its enabled lol

 

maybe something is wrong inside your permissions file

in my permissions are there any other permissions that could solve it perhaps? maybe something in Essentials?

NO wonder it doesnt work u havet assigned any groups nor assign ur self as a group
i can help u re write it but u need to tell me how many groups u want and what you want the groups to do

 

essentials doesnt even block your building. what are you talking about?

thats because your permissions.yml is invalid. thats not how you make one. read PEX documation and example files.

 

yes i have i just posted the Default group permissions as each group after that will inherit the Default groups so i didnt think therewas a need to post the other groups i have assigned myself and more to groups lol im not a complete noob haha

well can i c your WHOLE PERMISSIONS FILE this time.

because BUILDING / DESTROYING is all gota do with permission or another plugin inteferring

i think this maybe a bug error but i tested it out and it doesnt work.
but when i added myself through the console i was able to break blocks weird huh

no u shouldnt i tried doing this format manually and it didnt work
so appearently u need to use the console and add them to a group for them to break blocks o.o
command "pex group Member user add jacklin213 world"
replace Member with the group u want and jacklin213 as the persons username

 

damn ok so i have to manually add them each time to the group D: i wont be on all the time to add ppl is there a automatic way? lol

 

or just give build permissions to default.
