Overriding default healing rate

    I manage the SlowHealth plug-in and found if you turn off monster-spawn in the properties file the server will default to healing 1/2 a heart every second. My question is there an easy way to override or turn off the healing?

    I guess just check if it's monster-spawn is off, and damage each player 1/2 heart every second if so?

    I thought about that but every second the 'hurt' animation (and maybe sound) would go off.

    Unfortunately there's no overridable method that could alleviate that. Submit an issue to the issue tracker, or use the (flawed) workaround. No other solution :/
