oracle virtual box/ I need to get my map folder out of it.

Hi, I have my map folder stuck in an ubuntu x64 bit virtual environment that has no connection at all. (driver issue that is yet unexplained and I haven't been able to fix.)
Everything is normal except the part that I can't connect the computer to the internet (to do apt-get update) which would enable me to use a shared folder or upload the world file to the internet and I can't ether ping any website or computer at LAN.

So how would I get those files out ?

And btw I don't have any usb to connect to the vm.

I found my old ipod and used it as a usb then mounted it moved the world file, unmounted and rest is self explanatory.
