Only 2gb ram?

    How come that i only can use 2gb ram on my linux vps? thanks its an 32bit system! Or do i need a 64bit one?

    Im guessing it might be the 32bit, or the fact that that is the max java can use. I tried that and cant (on windows vista 60bit (I think)) and even increasing java memory dosent work. Mabie you need more ram as other programs and the OS needs some. How much have you got?

    A 32bit OS can use around 3.5GB of RAM. Don't know if it's less for 32bit Java.
