   Hello today I asked for help on how to stop the flow of lava permanently (just like in this plugin

   If it is lava causing the event then cancel it.
   
   There might be more to that. You might need to make sure it's not lava being turned to obsidian, not sure, that would be how to do it though.

   You're right. Silly me, It is a BlockFromToEvent that you need, not a physics event.
   
   Btw I got that answer by googling "spigot javadocs lava flow"
