Hello everyone, my name is spirroouu. Me, and some friends are currently making a new server... We are making plans for about 2 weeks now choosing plugins and such. It will be on a portable computer with 2 or 3 gb RAM i would like to get some information from you guys, first of all, is this enough for 20 player max? Next, i am planning on making the server a unique experience, i already got a quite big selection of plugins. It is going to be a RPG server, i already got a few plugins for the farming, more for the combat and i am planning on using or factions or towny, what are you guys suggesting, i am going to use permissions normal and i am using iconomy. For the combay system, i intend to use heroes plugin. Please tell me wich other plugins YOU would suggest for a full RPG-pvp server. Based on wars between towns or factions. Griefing not allowed. So big castles and battlefields. What other plugins do you guys suggest? +i could use some help from some admins and/or plugin creators. with your first question about 2-3gb ram for 20 people. Yes, that would be enough, but since you're going to have lots of RPG plugins and (possibly) NPC villages, you may want to invest in some more RAM, or have less players on your server for best performance. At the current rate, your server may have some amount of lag. [edit] also, the fact that you are running it off of a portable pc means you wont have quite as much processing power to run the server, and your laptop may become extremely laggy
